I passionately love the world I was born into. Making dimension embracing artworks that mingle the characteristics of human-made forms with those of evolved lifeforms is a pleasure and a privilege.

Series: “back from the brink of extinction”

This series is made up of these and several more, all rendered life-size, with the images formed from the elements of their environment, Specially treated papers and canvases are used to preserve the plant colors.

Series: ”other worlds”

Filtering down from all of the possible ways to see the world and live in it has narrowed our perception to an ‘everyday’ vista. Opening that aperture is the goal of this series.

Series: ”life worlds”

This series sprang from encounters with things in the environment that embody developing complexity or conversely, resisting decay, thus transforming the possibilities of the lives around them

these worlds have rules of their own

three mushrooms, one on branch

Series: “constructs/installation”

Glow-in-the-dark powders and pigments have their own fascination - as the phosphorescence results from the excitation of the substances’ electrons, causing them to jump up into what Niels Bohr called ‘forbidden orbits’

Past: “installations”

Larger, sometimes room-sized works, now existing as documentation only.

animal, mineral, vegetable…

Series: “trees”

The trees around us amidst their majesty, add spectacular rustling sounds, flickering light, lingering scents and life giving oxygen.

we dream amidst beauty

Series: “photo constructs”

Going into the photography process at the negative altering stage, means time in the darkest of darkrooms, where the reconstructed, often dimensional negative, is projected onto the emulsion before entering the final fixative baths to produce giant analog prints..
