These are images of those who have been brought back from the brink, or are close to it but not yet gone. The materials used reflect the issues affecting survival, whether positively (condor: copper leaf references copper bullet law) or negatively, such as compromised food sources. Study of the animal, and consultation with researchers on location of the animal's habitat affect what is collected for use as art material. These are tested for longevity, sometimes altered, or augmented with other relevant finds, then affixed onto watercolor paper or canvas to create a life sized likeness. Ongoing.
